The Hotel Indigo Williamsburg Brooklyn is now open, bringing with it the largest flexible event space in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood.
The 187-room hotel, which is part of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), has nearly 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space, which includes the 6,630-square-foot Williamsburg ballroom, a 2,800-square-foot prefunction space and a 480-square-foot Union Mezzanine. Other amenities include a pool with an open-air sun deck, a poolside bar and grill, a large outdoor courtyard, a fitness center and on-site parking. This fall, it will open a dual-level restaurant called Kitsch, which will have both indoor and outdoor seating and a menu led by Executive Chef Chai Trivedi.
The design of the property, by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects and Cl-oth Interiors, aims to draw upon the area’s history and culture. Guest rooms have hardwood floors and spa-inspired bathroom, and some rooms have large balconies with views of the neighborhood and the Manhattan skyline across the East River. The hotel also has 25 suites, including bi-level Loft Suites and a 1,100-square-foot Williamsburg Grand Suite.
Hotel Indigo Williamsburg Brooklyn is located at 500 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11211, close to a number of restaurants, boutiques, art galleries and nightlife venues. The hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers.
