Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to open a new meeting space at the Fantasia Bahia Principe Punta Cana on September 1. Aimed at groups seeking to celebrate or hold incentive-related meetings, events and conferences, the new ballroom will be able to accommodate up to 200 guests, and it will be available to all seven properties of Bahia Principe Bavaro Resort.
In addition to being equipped with the latest audiovisual technology and having complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi, trained staff and a variety of food and beverage options, groups visiting the property will also be offered numerous opportunities to connect with the culture and natural surroundings of the destination. When groups arrive, they are welcomed by local performers singing and dancing to the beats of Caribbean music. Groups can also participate in gastronomy and cultural-centric workshops, take dance lessons or sample local cuisine.
For an additional fee, groups have the option to partake in add-on experiences centered in culture, history and nature, including a chocolate and coffee tour or a trip aboard a modern catamaran to the nearby island Isla Saona.
