A new Ritz-Carlton hotel in Australia is set to bring a new rooftop restaurant and bar to Perth when it opens November 15, 2019. The Ritz-Carlton Perth will have 205 guestrooms, including 18 suites.
The hotel will be set along the Swan River, and it will be covered in 10,000 pieces of Kimberly sandstone on both its exterior and in its lobby. It will also have a rooftop bar and restaurant with views over the river and city.
In addition to its close proximity to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, the hotel will offer meeting and event planners over 21,500 square feet of flexible space, with venues offering views of the city skyline, Swan River and Elizabeth Quay. Notable venues include a ballroom with more than 5,900 square feet of space; two pre-function spaces; and a pool deck that can accommodate a cocktail reception for up to 150 guests. Planners will also be able to take advantage of a dedicated conference concierge, custom catering highlighting local ingredients and a full range of audiovisual services.
The hotel will also have a spa developed with hospitality consultants GOCO Hospitality. It will have three treatments rooms, one spa suite, saunas, a heated outdoor infinity pool, vitality pools with massage jets and a private mind & body studio.
The hotel is also a short distance from local attractions such as Kings Park and The Bell Tower. In addition to treatments in the on-property spa, other activities available to hotel guests will include twilight cruises along the Swan River and luxury seaplane tours. The hotel will be set at 1 Barrak Street.
