Cvent has made two big event announcements: the organization has opened registration for the 2020 edition of Cvent CONNECT, and it has announced the location of its upcoming Elite Meetings Alliance.
The Elite Meetings Alliance will take place this year at the Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort in Mexico on November 11 and 12. The event will offer networking opportunities, certified meeting professional (CMP) accredited sessions and one-on-one supplier appointments. The event is only open to a maximum of 150 pre-qualified corporate and association event planners.
In 2020, the Cvent CONNECT conference will take place June 15 – 18 at the all-new Caesars Forum conference center in Las Vegas. Conference bookings are now open.
In addition to hands-on training and networking opportunities, Cvent CONNECT attendees will be able to take advantage of nearly 150 sessions on industry trends, best practices and the latest technology advancements in the events and hospitality industries. Keynote speakers will be announced in the coming months, Cvent said; past speakers have included World Cup and Olympic Champion Abby Wambach, Chef, Restaurateur & Humanitarian Jose Andres and Former White House Director of Events Laura Schwartz.
“For next year’s event, we’re planning on capitalizing on the 2020 year by putting together a comprehensive agenda that highlights the importance of an organization’s having clear vision into their entire events program including event performance, ROI, and overall business impact. It is the ‘Year of Perfect Vision,’” said Rachel Andrews, director of meetings and events at Cvent in a written statement.
