Monaco Hotels and Convention Center Waive Cancellation Fees

Given continued consideration of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Monaco Government Tourist and Convention Authority and its partners have been mobilized to propose new dates to their clients while guaranteeing the most suitable solutions according to the formats of each event, especially for those which have been organized in Monaco for several years.

Considering the dramatic nature of the crisis, according to the convention bureau, all business tourism providers wanted more than ever to offer flexibility to their clients and make sure they wouldn’t be penalized for changing their plans. Therefore, it adds, most of the hotels and the convention center, Grimaldi Forum Monaco, have, whenever possible, waived contractual cancellation fees and postponed deposits. This policy has also been extended by most of the hotels of the Principality for individual and group reservations already confirmed for the 2020 Grand Prix, which has been cancelled.

The Monaco Government Tourist and Convention Authority promotes the Principality of Monaco to all organizers of business groups. It facilitates the organization of professional events thanks to its expertise and knowledge of all the Monegasque stakeholders concerned. It centralizes requests, coordinates and facilitates exchanges between various institutions. In the name of the Princely Government, it provides neutral and free information, as well as personalized support to every potential organizer of an event in Monaco.
