Venue management software company iVvy Inc. debuted a number of new tools at World Travel Market London (WTM), which took place November 4-6, including the new Group Accommodation feature and recently launched Meeting Booking tool.
As a fully integrated, end-to-end venue management platform, iVvy automates in-house inefficiencies throughout the marketing, booking, managing and reporting journey. The Group Accommodation feature streamlines the booking process and allows planners to self-serve, creating reservations on a group block with no manual effort. The venue maintains full control with pricing policies such as instant pricing, and the ability to only accept RFPs based on a customized rules engine. With these enhanced booking and revenue management capabilities, venues can track their leads and forecast a plan well before one is required. iVvy said its clients have seen double-digit increases in conversions.
With the ability to offer live inventory for function space, group accommodation, and food and beverage, iVvy is used by a number of successful hotels and casinos, travel companies, governments, universities, restaurants, venues, and nonprofits to reduce costs, boost revenue and profit, as well as enhance service. This latest showcase of their cloud-based platform comes on the heels of continued growth for iVvy. The company is expanding its presence in Europe, particularly in the United Kingdom hospitality market, with new appointments in the UK including Scott Ford as head of sales and Louise Hindley as senior sales manager. Scott joins iVvy from Amex GBT, bringing 20 years of industry experience with a career encompassing both TMC and hotel positions. Louise joins iVvy from Ocean Media Group and has over a decade of experience in the MICE industry.
