Visit Salt Lake (VSL) has announced that Braeden Beckstrand joined in late 2023 as national sales manager. He will pursue meetings with 200 to 2,000 attendees from organizations that are based in Arizona, New Mexico and the upper Midwest for this growing convention destination.
“I’m confident Braeden will be a wonderful fit and great contributor to the sales team,” said Chief Sales & Experience Officer Mark White. “We’re excited to have him on our team as we strategically and sustainably increase visitation, both for leisure, convention and sports for Salt Lake County.”
Beckstrand spent six years as Hotel Monaco’s group sales manager, primarily handling the corporate, sports and traveling entertainment markets. Prior to that, he worked as a sales manager at the SpringHill Suites/Courtyard by Marriott in Lehi, UT. Since the pandemic, he’s been Topgolf’s sales account manager where he handled up to 25 events per day. Beckstrand’s a Utah native who received a degree in mass communications from the University of Utah. He lives in Bluffdale with his wife and two children.
