Margaritaville Nassau Resort Expands Meeting & Events Team

Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau in the Bahamas has announced four new additions to its sales team. The new team members will play pivotal roles for the Pointe Complex, a residential and lifestyle development which includes Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau and its One Particular Harbour Residences. The expertise and contribution of these professionals will ensure that every event is executed with the highest attention to detail.

The new additions to the team, all natives of the Bahamas, include:

  • Antonecia Sweeting-Monroe, assistant director of sales – Sweeting-Munroe brings over 15 years of experience in hospitality and sales to her role. Having previously worked with brands such as SLS Baha Mar and Wyndham Nassau Resort, she now heads the on-island sales team at Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau and conducts outreach in several regional and international markets to bring in new group business. 
  • Beverley Maycock, wedding sales manager – With over two decades of experience in service and sales, Maycock has an impressive career portfolio. She has previously worked for Grand Isle Resort & Residences, JCRM Travel Concierge and Melia Nassau. She even served as a “Romance Manager,” providing unique and memorable experiences for couples. As wedding sales manager, she ensures local and destination wedding couples have everything they need for their special day.
  • Felicia Joseph, complex convention service manager – At Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau, Joseph works to service groups of all sizes and needs, coordinating and overseeing the planning and execution of their visits and events. Joseph worked her way up from a bartender to a marketing events coordinator then a catering sales manager and wedding specialist at SLS Baha Mar. 
  • Sabrina Stubbs, group sales manager – Stubbs’ role entails overseeing contracting for group room blocks and events, and working on new client acquisition in local and international markets. She has worked in the hospitality industry since high school. Her previous experience includes the sales teams at Atlantis Paradise Island, SLS Baha Mar, Hilton, and more. 

Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau has over 40,000 square feet of meeting and event space, with expansive indoor and outdoor options for events of all kinds. Indoor event spaces, including meeting breakout rooms with scenic views, ballrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, a high-tech entertainment center, and a restaurant, offer options for groups up to 400, depending on the space. Exterior spaces include a 12,000-square-foot beach space for up to 150 guests, and a lawn space for up to 200.
