To support this vision, The resort has strengthened its meetings and sales team with experienced leaders who add fresh perspectives and creativity to its offerings. Besides Torai, new additions to the resort’s team include:
- Elise Gertenbach, director of sales and marketing – Gertenbach has over 20 years of hospitality experience, including a decade at The Hotel Contessa in San Antonio, TX
- Marissa Salway, conference services manager – Salway was formerly with Playa Largo Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection, and her work experience includes roles in establishments across Florida and New York
- Kimberly Hanna, group sales manager – Hanna brings 20 years of events expertise, including prior roles at Key West’s Pier House Resort & Spa and La Concha Hotel
- Marisela Baraniewicz, director of sales – Baraniewicz spent nearly 15 years with Hyatt, and over three years at Pier House Resort & Spa and La Concha Hotel
