Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort has announced the appointment of Wendle Lesher as its hotel manager. A seasoned veteran in the hospitality sector, Lesher will lead the team overseeing all hotel operations at the Maui resort.

Oliver, Grand Wailea’s managing director, in a press release. “Being no stranger to luxury Hawaiian hospitality, we are eager for him to bring his extensive experience to our operations team at such an exciting time for the hotel.”
Lesher has over 19 years of experience within the Hawaiian luxury hospitality sphere. Most recently, he held the position of director of food and beverage at Hilton Waikoloa Village, where he oversaw $50 million in revenue over 14 separate restaurants, bars and banquet operations. Prior to that, Lesher was the director of food and beverage and operations at both the Mauna Kea Resort and Fairmont Orchid properties. He also spent 10 years as restaurant general manager at the Four Seasons Hualalai.
In his new role, Lesher will leverage his combined hospitality and customer service experience to lead Grand Wailea’s hotel operations. As a key member of the resort leadership team, he will work in tandem with the resort managers to create hotel initiatives to optimize revenue and growth for the resort.
