Fairmont Dallas has welcomed two staff members including Lin Mandich, director of catering sales, and Jose Perez, director of banquets. Additionally, Trevor Tkachyk has been promoted to director of conference services.
Mandich brings over 20 years of experience in the luxury hotel and event industry. She previously held a position at The Plaza, a Fairmont-managed hotel, where she began her career as a management trainee. Reporting to the director of sales and marketing, she will be responsible for creating and maintaining client relations, achieving revenue goals and delivering F&B offerings for guests as director of catering sales.
Perez brings nearly two decades of hospitality experience and leadership to his new role as director of banquets. He most recently worked as director of banquets at Fairmont Washington D.C.; prior to that, he served as food and beverage events manager at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek.
The Fairmont Dallas team also promoted Tkachyk to director of conference services from his previous role as director of banquets. Reporting to the director of sales and marketing, Tkachyk will oversee the conference services team for the hotel, which is home to several annual conferences. Tkachyk brings 14 years of experience to the position including experience from previous positions within the Fairmont portfolio. He previously served as the food and beverage manager/assistant director of banquets at Fairmont Dallas, interim director of banquets and assistant director of banquets at Fairmont San Jose, and assistant director of banquets and outlet manager at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.
Located in the Dallas Arts District, Fairmont Dallas has 545 guestrooms, a rooftop terrace complete with garden and pool, and 70,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel is home to the Pyramid Restaurant and an on-site Starbucks on the lobby level.
