American Express Global Business Travel has appointed Louise Miller as vice president of U.S. multinational clients and sales.
In her new role, Miller will be responsible for guiding the U.S. multinational commercial team’s focus on providing value and building strong relationships with clients and suppliers. She will report to EVP, global clients and general manager, David Reimer.
In a press release, Reimer said, “We are thrilled to have Louise join Amex GBT as we embark on a new era. Her extensive industry knowledge spans all facets of the travel value chain and will further our ability to innovate, grow and deliver impactful client solutions.”
Expressing her excitement, Miller said in a press note, “Amex GBT is helping lead the industry’s recovery and reframing the way we approach business travel. I’m excited to join this dynamic team and further embed a client-centric focus at the heart of the business.”
For the past four years, Miller has served as managing partner of the Americas for Areka Consulting where she led teams delivering engagements for many leading global customers in categories such as travel, expense, meetings, payments and enterprise technology. She brings more than 25 years of executive level travel industry experience and is based in Dallas, Texas.
Miller will start her role at Amex GBT on March 28, 2022.
