Rosen Hotels & Resorts in Orlando Secures GBAC STAR Accreditation

Rosen Hotels & Resorts in Orlando, FL has announced that it has secured GBAC STAR Facility Accreditation from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council on behalf of its three convention properties as part of its ongoing, heightened focus on associate and guest safety and security, "Rosen’s Total Commitment."

This designation provides company associates and guests an assurance that the 1,501-room Rosen Shingle Creek, 1,334-room Rosen Centre Hotel and 800-room Rosen Plaza Hotel are implementing the industry’s highest standards for cleaning and disinfection of infectious agents like coronavirus. The three Rosen Hotels are among 34 Florida properties that have achieved the notable designation to date.

The three Rosen convention properties combined offer 3,635 guestrooms and suites and 700,000 square feet of versatile indoor and outdoor meeting space, many offering vistas of the area’s landscape. With so many varied spaces, the hotels can customize gatherings of any size, utilizing numerous measures (such as social distancing) to ensure guest safety, especially during the current pandemic.

Rosen Hotels & Resorts says its dedication to the health and wellness of its guests and associates spans more than 30 years. In 1991, due to rising healthcare costs in concert with diminished benefits, and with a personal interest in wellness—including one-and-a-half-mile daily swims up to present day—president and COO Harris Rosen created a self-funded healthcare program called RosenCare

As part of the "Rosen’s Total Commitment," the Rosen Medical Center was one of the first entities in Orlando to facilitate access to rapid turnaround PCR testing, and since then also has secured access to rapid antigen COVID-19 testing for its associates.
