The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa Unveils Two Culinary Experiences

Set in the Sonoran Desert, The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, AZ, has announced the opening of two new dining concepts, La Luz Restaurant and Casa 71 Tequila Lounge. Building on the recent unveiling of the newly renovated guestrooms, the opening of these two dining experiences marks a milestone for the resort as it undergoes a multi-phased transformation.

La Luz serves as the resort’s signature restaurant, where guests can enjoy a range of dishes while enjoying mountain views. Designed by Managing Principal Jill Cole and Senior Designer Antonia De Fonte of Cole Martinez Curtis and Associates Interior Design, the extensive renovations to La Luz included the transformation of the two seating areas into a new buffet and semi-private dining room along with the addition of custom laser-cut patterned walls and ceilings. On the lower level, diners will be greeted by an outdoor-facing space with a custom bar table.

Casa 71 Tequila Lounge, as the name suggests, offers a selection of 71 tequilas and mezcals, in addition to cocktails and light bites.

The Westin Paloma Resort & Spa also completed a renovation of its guestrooms. The San Xavier Suite now has a private wellness studio with a Peloton bike alongside a revamped outdoor balcony with a new bar and fire pit table, perfect for al fresco gatherings. The property additionally completed enhancements to several public spaces, including its La Paloma Country Club Banquet Room to better accommodate larger events, the lobby and registration areas, and the relocation of the Grab & Go Café to a more spacious setting, seamlessly integrated with retail for improved guest convenience.
