W Boston has announced the completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation of its 5,000-square-foot meeting and event space.
A bold, large-scale graphic artwork in partnership with local Boston artist Cedric Douglas is the first discovery. The outstretched hands barely touching aim to embody "sparks of connection." A handcrafted chandelier overhead is symbolic of both fire and light: Designed as a bonfire, it tells the story of those who used to burn the colonies’ original "naturopaths," what is today known as the Salem witches. The flames portray destruction yet also provide warmth and light in a space designed for celebration and gatherings.
This renovation is not merely a physical overhaul, but a reflection of W Boston’s brand evolution. The use of organic textures, wood and granite elements contributes to the ambiance and aligns with W Boston’s brand transformation. Standout capabilities include state-of-the-art technology, a wired business center, and 80-inch wireless TVs in studios with built-in ceiling projectors. Studio spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows provide glimpses of Boston and can be combined to accommodate diverse group sizes.
Commitment to sustainability is woven into the fabric of the renovation, with green meeting options aligning with environmentally conscious practices. To cater to diverse culinary preferences, the hotel’s F&B team is equipped to custom curate menus, ensuring each event is tailored to all guests’ needs and tastes.
W Boston is located in Boston’s Theatre District. The hotel’s dining options include The Gallery, Beer Garden @ W, and W Lounge. The W Lounge has a live DJ every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
