The St. Regis Washington, D.C. Debuts Extensive Renovation

The St. Regis Washington, D.C. has unveiled extensive redesign and renovation of its guestrooms, suites and select public spaces. The hotel, which has been a staple in downtown D.C. since 1926, has infused a refreshed palette and luxurious finishes across seven floors of refreshed guestrooms and suites.

Led by The St. Regis brand design team, the 182 newly renovated guestrooms and suites offer spacious layouts and modern interiors. The design palette embraces clean cream-colored walls and textiles curated by Kravet with an infusion of blues, grays and gold throughout the carpets, furnishings and more. The guestrooms also received full updates to the bathrooms, complete with white and gray marbled vanities.

The hotel’s suites have separate seating areas for work or play that integrate into the layout of the room designs. The hotel’s Presidential Suite is the property’s largest, offering 2,510 square feet of space. Good to know: Guests at The St. Regis Washington, D.C. can avail of the hotel’s signature St. Regis Butler Service across all suite categories.

The hotel has also unveiled the restoration of the 2,508-square-foot Astor Ballroom and the adjacent 2,500-square-foot Astor Terrace, one of the capital city’s most sought-after wedding and event venues. Floor-to-ceiling arched windows and crystal chandeliers adorn this venue with its original hardwood floors and high ceilings.

As a part of the hotel’s larger renovation plan, the next phase of construction will see a new outdoor terrace completed this spring at Alhambra, the hotel’s on-site modern Mediterranean restaurant, as well as updates to the lobby-level St. Regis Bar, with plans to redesign these F&B venues starting in 2025.
