Soneva has unveiled its “Meetings and Events” offer, which will be available at Soneva Fushi and Soneva Jani in the Maldives; and Soneva Kiri in Thailand. From corporate happenings to team-building retreats, Soneva’s barefoot hideaways offer inspiring settings for gatherings of all sizes.
At Soneva Fushi and Soneva Jani, guests can enjoy a sunset dolphin cruise or an island castaway picnic. At Soneva Kiri, guests can enjoy a guided mangrove paddling excursion or explore Koh Kood’s rainforest during a trek to Yai Ki waterfall. Groups can also learn about Soneva’s sustainable philosophy with a tour of each resort’s Eco Centro and organic gardens.
Among Soneva Fushi's 11 dining destinations are the beach-side Mihiree Mitha and intimate fine-dining at Once Upon a Table. At Soneva Jani, the 11 venues include The Crab Shack, the Overseas by Mathias Dahlgren and So Wild by Diana Von Cranach, which is located in the resort’s organic gardens. At Soneva Kiri, a choice of eight culinary concepts includes The View, which offers views over the Gulf of Thailand, and Kruua Mae Tuk, a no-menu Thai diner hidden at the end of a mangrove-lined waterway.
Guests can find inspiration on a private sandbank in the middle of the Indian Ocean at Soneva Fushi. Project presentations or inspirational videos can be played on the large outdoor screen at Cinema Paradiso at Soneva Jani. Groups can conduct intimate meetings amid treetops at Soneva Kiri’s Treepod Dining.
At Soneva Fushi, 64 one- to nine-bedroom island villas are spread across dense rainforest, each just steps from the beach, besides eight one- and two-bedroom Water Retreats. Soneva Jani’s over-water villas range from one to four bedrooms and include 24 Water Retreats and 27 new Chapter Two Water Reserves, besides a couple of two- and four-bedroom island hideaways. At Soneva Kiri, 33 pool villas range from one to five bedrooms and are located beachside, in the jungle on hillsides or on clifftops.
Every event at Soneva is customized by a team of experts. Groups can also connect to some mentors such as Peter Meyers, CEO of Stand & Deliver; learn about creating balance and stability in overworked teams with therapist Roger Moore; or learn about strengthening team relationships from teacher, author and advisor Duncan Coombe.
The offer is valid for a minimum three-night stay until December 17, 2022. Package rates are priced per night and are based on two guests in a one-bedroom villa, with a minimum booking of 20 rooms or more required. Each package is inclusive of daily meals at the resort’s restaurants; roundtrip wheeled plane transfers from Malé Airport to Soneva Fushi and Soneva Jani, and shared return scheduled flight transfers between Bangkok and Soneva Kiri; and group experiences.
