Radisson Salt Lake City Downtown has announced an extensive multimillion-dollar makeover spanning the property’s guestrooms, dining outlets, lobby, fitness center and pool. The project is expected to be completed in early 2024, just in time to make the most of the winter sports season.
Salt Lake City’s tourism market has boomed in recent years, bringing several new hotels, retail stores and entertainment venues to the city’s downtown area. The recent investment in elevating Radisson Salt Lake City Downtown will better position the property to meet the increased demand for rooms.
Hale Collective, the design firm behind the project, will draw inspiration from the nearby Wasatch Mountains for the hotel’s new look. Plans call for the addition of a new Executive Club Lounge at the property. Conveniently located off of the lobby, guests staying in Executive Club Level rooms and suites will have access to a chef’s kitchen serving a daily breakfast bar, evening canapés and all-day snack offerings. The new space will have community tables and lounge spaces with a modern and bright atmosphere.
The property will also welcome new and updated dining concepts, including Coffee & Market, a new coffee bar concept serving a daily selection of breakfast goods. A newly designed market will offer convenience to guests or grab-and-go options for locals. Copper Canyon Grill House & Tavern, the hotel’s on-site restaurant will also receive a few upgrades as part of the planned changes, including the expansion of a seasonal patio.
