The Lodge at Moss Neck Now Open for Family and Corporate Events

The Lodge at Moss Neck in Fredericksburg, VA, originally established as a family getaway oasis, and not open to the public, is now available to be booked for family or corporate events. 

After entering the stone gates at The Lodge at Moss Neck, a mile-and-a-half drive gives guests a chance to take in the 1,200-acre property. Only one group at a time is permitted to enjoy the 15-room property, ensuring personalized service and privacy. The property offers both small and grand meeting and banqueting rooms, multiple flexible dining settings both indoors and out, many "all access" activities, as well as an plenty of optional offerings such as horse-drawn carriage rides, escorted petting zoo and farm tours.

The lodge lays emphasis on environmental protection, sustainable agriculture and farming that honors the past, present and future. Local craftsmen, working in bold stone, cedar and walnut woods, backed by centuries of experience have ensured an authentic experience. The 15 guestrooms include spacious singles, doubles and king size rooms. The Presidential Suite is the top digs. 

A variety of indoor and outdoor spaces include an oversized multipurpose ballroom which can hold 200 or be converted into a regulation basketball court, a Great Room for up to 80, a Formal Dining Room for up to 24 people, a Sports Lounge for up to 160 and an Intimate Loft for up to 24. There is also a grand outdoor tent-with-a-view, which can hold 250 and is ideal for wedding parties, concerts and dancing-till-dawn.

All meals, beverages, fine wines and spirits for guests are included. Guests will enjoy personalized menus curated by Executive Chef Joel Alvarado around individual preferences. The lodge is surrounded by its own working farm, which is an integral part of the dining experience offering farm-to-fork dining.

The newly created spa has a team of certified spa, beauty and massage therapists. It has a fireside relaxation lounge, an outdoor lanai, spacious changing rooms equipped with showers and a vanity station, three treatment rooms including one for couples’ treatments.

The lodge also caters to wedding parties, whether it’s an intimate wedding for just close family and friends or a large celebration for up to 200 guests. The wedding team works with the couple, the family and wedding planner, if desired, to take care of every detail.
