The 110-acre beachfront resort Round Hill Hotel and Villas in Montego Bay, Jamaica, has introduced a range of perks for meeting and incentive planners.
Planners can choose from an assortment of all-ocean-view guestrooms, suites and two- to six-bedroom villas, and receive the following perks and privileges:
- 10 percent commission on accommodation bookings
- Certificate for a complimentary two-night stay (Monday to Thursday; blackout dates apply), valid for one year upon contract signature
- Special rates for a midweek site inspection trip
- Special pre- and post-event rates for up to three days (based on availability)
Planners booking 10 to 20 room nights may select one of the following options; those who book 21 to 50 room nights may select two perks; and those booking 50 or more room nights can select three among the following perks:
- 20 percent discount on spa treatments exceeding 50 minutes
- Groups of 30 or more receive a complimentary 30-minute Caribbean cocktail reception, including four hors d’oeuvres, rum punch, local beers, mocktails and a selection of spirits
- One complimentary room for every 15 rooms or villas booked (limited to three per contract)
- Complimentary upgrade to the next room category, excluding villas. Groups with 10 to 30 rooms receive one complimentary upgrade, while groups with 31 or more rooms receive two upgrades
- Groups of 10 to 30 rooms qualify for one special accommodation rate and 31-plus qualify for two special rates
Good to know: The resort’s newly debuted “Full Buyout Package” is ideal for executive retreats, incentive programs and other corporate gatherings. The package includes exclusive use of all resort facilities; customized event planning; personalized menus, with options for private dinners, cocktail receptions and more; dedicated staff who will attend to every detail, from logistics and transportation to entertainment and décor. A minimum stay of four nights is required for all buyouts. Ideal arrival and departure patterns include Wednesday to Sunday or Thursday to Monday; however, other options can be considered based upon availability.
Groups booking a buyout with a Monday peak arrival receive an additional 5 percent rebate credited to the group’s master account. In addition to the above, special inclusions for buyouts include:
- VIP welcome amenities (Chef’s choice) – Attendees will enjoy a selection of welcome gifts prepared by the resort’s chef
- Caribbean welcome – Complimentary one-hour Caribbean cocktail reception, including steel drums, four delicious hors d’oeuvres, rum punch, local beers, mocktails and a selection of spirits
- VIP gift – Planners receive a certificate for a complimentary three-night stay (midweek; blackout dates apply), valid for one year upon contract signature
For a seamless experience, Round Hill offers comprehensive meal plans that must be chosen uniformly by all group members. Plans include:
- Modified American Plan (MAP) – Breakfast and dinner at $165 per person daily
- Full American Plan (FAP): Breakfast, lunch and dinner at $225 per person daily
- Round Hill Inclusive Plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverages at $350 per person daily
Regardless of program size, all groups receive a range of complimentary amenities and services including a signature welcome drink upon arrival; glass-bottom boat tours every morning; access to Round Hill’s tennis and pickleball courts, fitness center and instructor-led classes; a variety of non-motorized water sports activities on-site; daily afternoon tea in the Ralph Lauren Cocktail Lounge; access to resort-wide Wi-Fi; and nightly turndown service. Additionally, airport ground transfers can be arranged for a special group rate of $50 per person for one to four passengers ($15 for additional passengers).
