Innovation Hotel in Naples, Florida, is just one of two hotels in Florida that utilizes the Synexis BioDefense Reduction System for its public areas. The Synexis technology uses the oxygen and humidity already present in the air to create “Dry Hydrogen Peroxide” (DHP), which, according to the hotel, reduces the presence of bacteria, insects, mold, odors and viruses, including SARS-COV-2, also known as coronavirus.
“In our ongoing commitment to provide the safest space possible for guests and staff, the Synexis system sets us apart and allows us to offer peace of mind to professionals ready to reconvene face-to-face meetings, and to the talented team of employees who make those meetings a reality,” said Gary Hyre, general manager, in a press statement. “This technology provides an extra layer of defense against bacteria and germs in the air and on surfaces without disrupting or distracting from business.”
The 169-room property opened its doors in early 2020 to primarily accommodate visiting surgeons and other medical professionals from around the globe visiting the corporate headquarters of Arthrex, a global medical device company adjacent to the hotel. The Synexis system was installed in all public areas in the hotel and the Arthrex facilities in order to provide assurance to visiting clientele. The hotel has since opened its doors to a broader group of executive-level meeting professionals and has continued to enhance environmental safety features by installing the Synexis system in each of its 48 meeting spaces.
Guestrooms are configured in pods of three or four, which surround 48 meeting parlors offering a peaceful oasis to rest, recharge and collaborate. Public areas and guestrooms feature a modern European aesthetic accented with clean lines, spacious floor plans, muted tones and the latest smart technology.
The hotel features 3,715 square feet of indoor meeting space, including the high-tech Innovation Cinema that can accommodate up to 40 guests. Outdoor meeting and activity spaces are ideal for networking and team-building activities. Located across the street, Arthrex One offers an additional 19,000 square feet of meeting and conference space as well as a Wellness Center spanning 20,000 square feet. Meeting and event spaces offer a range of backdrops to boost, channel and sustain energy and collaboration. The hotel has two restaurants on-site, offering an array of options for visitors to unwind and collaborate.
