Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City Names Director of Sales & Marketing

Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City has announced the appointment of Jarrod Finley as the hotel’s opening director of sales and marketing. In his role, Finley will develop and implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives to help achieve a variety of objectives for the 700-room convention hotel. Attached to the Salt Palace Convention Center, the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is designed for large scale meetings and conventions and will welcome guests to experience a thriving urban hub with views of the mountains beyond.

Prior to joining Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City, Finley served as vice president of sales for the San Diego Tourism Authority, where he earned recognition as a "40 Under 40" industry leader. With more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Finley has held sales and marketing leadership positions at the Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, Anaheim Marriott and Marriott International’s U.S. account sales team.

Slated to open in 2022, Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City will be the downtown area’s newest convention hotel and is expected to provide "technology-forward conveniences with modern craftsmanship and design," according to a press announcement. Upon arrival, guests can enjoy the inviting spaces anchored by a double-sided stone clad fireplace in the lobby.

Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City will have 700 spacious guestrooms and 60,000 square feet of  meeting space. The 25-floor hotel will also offer a technology-enabled broadcast lounge, along with mountain views from the sixth-floor rooftop event terrace.
