Hyatt Regency Portland Resumes Operations

Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center, the brand’s first full-service hotel in the city of Portland, has announced its path forward to welcoming back guests. With a focus on safety first and well-being, Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center has recently resumed operations and is "reimagining" the hotel journey with new amenities and offerings. 

As an extension of Hyatt’s recently announced "Global Care and Cleanliness Commitment," Hyatt has collaborated with medical experts from Cleveland Clinic and other industry advisors to fine-tune reopening and operating procedures, such as colleague re-orientations, enhanced cleaning and safety protocols, and a hygiene and well-being leader at every property.

Beyond Safe and Clean, New Guest Experiences

With creativity and care, Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center is giving guests and groups alike greater control of their hotel journey through newly designed experiences, focusing on a more holistic sense of well-being from pre-arrival to checkout and beyond.

• Reimagined Guestroom Packages: Guest can explore the savings of the "Endless Summer" guestroom package, which extends 21 percent off of the prevailing rate, $1 overnight parking and a 21 percent savings on all local wine, beer and sprits in The Market or Spoke & Fork. Want to extend your stay? Take advantage of the hotel’s Third Night Free promotion and extend your stay an additional night while earning complimentary breakfast for two through The Market.
• Wellbeing Where You Are: Through a new, exclusive collaboration with Headspace, guests may access mindfulness exercises, guided meditations and sleep content via the World of Hyatt app, either on in-room TVs or on the road. Guests can also enjoy enhanced fitness and wellbeing amenities in-room, such as fitness equipment delivered to the guestroom or access to their favorite fitness apps via in-room Chromecast-enabled TVs. Guests can take their well-being on the road through the hotel’s newly launched Bike Town Package, which is a convenient, fun and affordable way to explore the "City of Roses."
• Less Contact, More Care: Hyatt hotels are working to roll out enhanced digital amenities through the World of Hyatt app that will give guests more control over how they connect with Hyatt. The new features will allow guests to manage preferences like scheduling housekeeping, choosing between pick-up or knock-and-go food orders, mobile entry key, contactless check-in and checkout and more. For meetings and events, Hyatt hotels are offering audio-visual technology, such as the Owl, which delivers a hybrid meeting solution for events of all sizes.
• Feeding the Senses: For those  looking to enhance their stays through exceptional culinary experiences, the hotel is offering the "Portland Foodie" and "Oregon Naturalist" guestroom packages. 
• Curated with Care: Guestroom décor and amenities have seen the removal of extraneous high-touch items.

Flexibility

As part of Hyatt’s new extended cancellation policy, most reservations booked at Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center, May 24 and beyond via Hyatt channels—for any future arrival date through July 31, 2021—can be cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before scheduled arrival online or via the World of Hyatt app. This includes "Advance Purchase Rate" reservations. 

Caring for Colleagues

As part of Hyatt’s "Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment," Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center will have a team on property trained as its Hygiene & Wellbeing Committee, which is responsible for the hotel adhering to Hyatt’s new operational guidance and protocols. The Hygiene & Wellbeing Leader will help maintain the hotel’s mandatory GBAC STAR accreditation, including a cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention program that will focus on establishing hotel environments that are sanitary, safe and healthy.
