Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa is offering a variety of new cultural, culinary and immersive experiences that can take place during events and meeting breaks. These experiences add to the list of perks at the resort, which offers a 100,000-square-foot meeting space and views of Ka’anapali Beach.
As part of new cultural experiences at the resort, meetings can now begin with a Hawaiian blessing/conch shell blessing. Additionally, the resort is also offering live Hawaiian music, lei-making workshop, a hula demonstration, hula lessons, storytelling by a cultural advisor,fire knife demonstration and group ukulele class.
Among the culinary offerings, the resort can arrange a midday mocktail making experience followed by a team mocktail making competition, in which a special prize is awarded to the winner. The resort is also offering a lesson on how to make shave ice and food tasting experience at Japengo.

In addition to the cultural and culinary experiences, there are various immersive experiences being offered by the resort, including a painting demonstration with one of the resort’s art-loving African penguins; golf lessons at Hyatt Golf Studio by YO! Maui; competitive golf simulator competition at Hyatt Golf Studio by YO! Maui; a small boat and canoe race in the pool (for which a special prize is awarded to the winner); a CSR activity to replant indigenous plants that will be taken to be relocated and dispersed throughout the island; and special programming with NASA solar system ambassador Eddie Mahoney, followed by a Tour of the Stars session in the evening.
