Hyatt Place Montreal Downtown Celebrates Grand Opening

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of its first Hyatt Place hotel in MontrealHyatt Place Montreal Downtown. The hotel, located near the renowned "Village," one of Montreal's most diverse neighborhoods, and minutes from the Quartier des Spectacles, will cater to both business and leisure travelers. Montreal's largest metro station, Berri-UQAM, is connected to the hotel, providing easy access to the Palais des Congrès and many other attractions.

Acquired in August 2019 by Sageblan Investments, the hotel has undergone a $25 million renovation resulting in modern design, innovation, and 24/7 dining.

Hyatt Place Montreal Downtown has a pet-friendly atmosphere; it has 354 guestrooms with separate spaces to sleep, work and play, as well as a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper. There is also an indoor pool and sauna with a unique view of Downtown Montreal, several spaces to facilitate remote working with views of Montreal and 10 meeting rooms with over 6,000 square feet of flexible space.

For dining, Le Coin Bistro, a restaurant, bar and lounge, offers a variety of dishes as well as signature cocktails. The hotel also offers complimentary breakfast for its guests. Caffeine lovers would love to know that a Starbucks is attached to the hotel.
