The Hayes Mansion San Jose, Curio Collection by Hilton has announced that it has completed its $20 million makeover. The project includes 214 revamped guestrooms and suites, 33,000 square feet of upgraded event space and a refreshed lobby. Additionally, the property debuts a new restaurant, Palm & Ember. The design was led by ForrestPerkins, a hospitality design group.
The original luxury estate structure was constructed in 1905 and is situated on six acres of real estate adjacent to a 20-acre park located minutes from downtown San Jose. The property offers a range of outdoor spaces that can accommodate both intimate and large gatherings across two lawns and patio areas.
The reception area has been updated and every guestroom and suite at Hayes Mansion has been remodeled and refurbished. The rooms have travel-inspired details, rich wood, hand-forged iron accent pieces, in addition to USB charging ports and upgraded wireless Internet.
The new restaurant, Palm & Ember, has a bar area with blue-green tones, classic tiling, wood and brass fixtures, and quartz countertops. The lounge flows through to the 150-seat dining room and out onto a full-service, 40-seat outdoor terrace and garden seating area. The eatery serves dishes that include fresh herbs and ingredients gathered from the Hayes Mansion garden.
The revamped IACC-certified meeting space offers spacious set-ups and functional floor plans that can host small groups and conference-size events. Hayes Mansion has its own A/V staff on site and T3 lines with 100MB connectivity. Additionally, the expansive grounds can be bought-out for an individual retreat experience in the heart of Silicon Valley.
