Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk, located on San Antonio’s famous waterway, is embarking on a nearly $9 million renovation project. Expected to be completed in early March, the enhancement project will transform the hotel’s lobby and public spaces. It will also debut a new dining concept, lobby lounge and bar, and coffee house. Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk will be open and operating throughout the renovation project.
The updated lobby will host new check-in desks, crystal chandeliers and the addition of contemporary lighting fixtures and an open layout. The enhancements will also include the addition of Tejas Lounge, which will be located at the west end of the lobby. The lounge will showcase a bar offering a variety of Texas spirits, cocktails and light bites.
Taking the place of the hotel’s Bar Rojo will be a new dining concept, Moda Fare, serving Italian cuisine. The restaurant concept will offer a large bar and floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as a garden-style patio for al fresco dining. Tip: The patio will also have a large television for screening sporting events. Additionally, Perks Coffee will be transformed to an upscale coffee house named Spoonful Provisions featuring a selection of coffee roasters, Texas-inspired products and a variety of grab-and-go food items.
Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk is located situated adjacent to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. The 1,003-key hotel has 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space that with with high-tech special effect capability to accommodate all types of meetings and events.
