Grand Hyatt Deer Valley to Open November 2024

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is accepting reservations ahead of its opening on November 20, 2024. The resort marks the debut of Deer Valley East Village and will offer approximately 400 luxury accommodations, including 100 discounted rooms reserved nightly for the country’s service members, multiple F&B options, and one of the largest mountainside event facilities in the U.S.

In addition to Deer Valley’s expanded ski terrain, the property’s positioning allows for easy access to hundreds of miles of hiking and biking paths as well as access to the Jordanelle Reservoir, providing guests with year-round adventure opportunities, as well as music-forward après-ski experiences and entertainment.

The Deer Valley East Village expansion is North America’s first luxury alpine village to be developed since 1981. Extell Development Company is leading the development of the base area, while Deer Valley’s “Expanded Excellence” initiative is driving the expansion of the terrain. Grand Hyatt Deer Valley, the center of Deer Valley East Village, will offer guests access to 300-plus new skiable acres for the 2024-25 season, several debut ski runs and three new chairlifts, surrounded by the Wasatch and Uinta Mountains. The resort’s guestrooms, suites and residences offer a blend of contemporary design and luxury. The rooms have spa-inspired bathrooms, walk-in closets and oversized windows framing the Rocky Mountains, Heber Valley and Jordanelle Reservoir.

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley’s signature restaurant, Remington Hall, will serve rustic American fare, while Double Blacks, the resort’s coffee shop powered by Park City Coffee Roasters, will invite guests to start their day with single-source bean coffee, breakfast, croughnuts and more. The Living Room, with its oversized fireplace, will offer a family après vibe, serving artisanal hot chocolate and pastries. Featuring live music, Hidden Ace is expected to become a favorite local hangout. A range of programming and partnerships will round out the alpine food and beverage experience when doors open November 2024.

Other facilities include a heated outdoor pool, three oversized hot tubs, and a pool deck offering mountain views and a nighttime entertainment program; a modern fitness lounge with views of the Jordanelle Reservoir; and a spa. For families, a Camp Hyatt Kids Club, including Nap-working Events, a Kids’ Happy Hour and a hangout hub for gaming and socializing, will ensure entertainment for younger guests and parents alike. Furthermore, Grand Hyatt Deer Valley will welcome dogs up to 75 pounds, offering a dog run, a menu for dogs and more.

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley offers nearly 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. Conference facilities include in-house A/V support, custom digital signage, and an exclusive event entrance.
