Just in time for the holiday season, the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, located in Lake Geneva, WI, will offer groups the opportunity to reserve private accommodations and book entire buildings and spaces throughout its 1,300-acre resort campus.
What can guests expect during the holidays? Grand Geneva has over 2 million lights and animated scenes, a hallway full of gingerbread houses, special holiday-themed seasonal menus, plus the resort's Christmas in the Country holiday programming.
Since launching its hotel buyout package last year, Grand Geneva has received increased interest in building buyouts and small group bookings, especially as the holidays approach.
“For the past six months, we’ve been receiving several enquiries from group and meeting planners interested in blocking out sections of the resort this fall and winter—hotel accommodations, dining facilities, meetings rooms and more,” said Brad Lyles, director of sales and marketing, Grand Geneva, in a press release. “As with many destinations across the U.S., we are also seeing an increase in smaller group bookings for the holidays and next few months. Our private group 'Igloo Experiences' are especially popular this upcoming season.”
The resort offers a variety of functional conference space and room options designed to accommodate any event and social distancing requirements, all while following the resort's "CleanCare Pledge" and adhering to state and local COVID recommendations and guidelines. There’s also the opportunity for groups to book private igloos.
Situated on the resort’s Ember’s Terrace overlooking the Wisconsin countryside small groups may enjoy the resort’s "Igloo Experience" featuring warm drinks, cocktails, and small plates, all inside the warmth of a private group igloo.
Companies can also take advantage of Grand Geneva's 1,300 acres and 60,000 square feet of function space. The resort offers plenty of seasonal outdoor experiences year-round such as beautiful Wisconsin hiking, mountain bike trails, skiing, horseback riding, motorized scooter rentals, championship golf, tennis, and more.
Grand Geneva's hotel buyout package includes private group accommodations with option to reserve a resort building; breakfast; both wired and wireless Internet access; basic audio visual; use of Grand Geneva’s Resort Conference Center; total of (12) meeting rooms, 20,000 square feet of meeting space (four boardrooms, three divisible ballrooms); designated remote registration area; private entrances; complimentary parking; complimentary fitness center and spa access and access to outdoor running or hiking trails.
