Garden of the Gods Resort and Club in Colorado Springs, CO has completed a $40 million renovation to all its 117 guestrooms, suites, cottages and casitas, four dining venues, Strata Spa and Strata Med, and over 22,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting and event space.
Renovations at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club were conceptualized and executed by Johnson David Interiors and Marsh & Associates Inc. Each of the lodge rooms and suites affords views of the Garden of the Gods and the Rocky Mountains. Revamped bathrooms have nearly doubled in size to include oversized showers, full-size soaking tubs and modern vanities. Cottages and casitas, ranging from one- to three-bedroom layouts with patios and airy interiors, offer a more residential and secluded experience, and are ideal for small groups.
While all dining venues and bars experienced upgrades, Grand View Restaurant, with views of the Garden of the Gods rock formations, was completely transformed. Floor-to-ceiling windows, chandeliers and a Türkiye-imported onyx bar are some of the noteworthy additions.
The wellness resort also offers over 22,000 square feet of meeting and event space: 12,000 square feet of indoor event space is spread across seven flexible function rooms with 14 configurations and 10,000 square feet of outdoor space comprises four terraces. The resort provides gourmet catering services, modern AV equipment and ample parking to complement events with up to 250 attendees. Groups can choose from a range of experiential and wellness packages designed to spark creativity, optimize well-being and foster team building. Examples include guided hikes, yoga or meditation sessions at the base of Garden of the Gods and more.
Resort activities include golfing at a 27-hole championship course, tennis on two outdoor and four indoor courts, three outdoor swimming pools and weekly expert-led fitness classes.
Additionally, Strata is a 31,000-square-foot space where 40 board-certified doctors, nurses, therapists and wellness clinicians are onsite to offer holistic medicine all under one roof. While Strata Spa services range from ayurvedic rituals to hydration and sensory flotation experiences, Strata Med experiences include everything from cardiology, neuromuscular chiropractic care and mental health, to general practitioner services and more.
