Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, in partnership with Long Beach-based investment and development group Pacific6, has announced the opening of Fairmont Breakers Long Beach following a multimillion-dollar transformation.
Originally built in 1926, the property now offers 185 bright guestrooms, including 22 suites. Rooms range from 287 square feet to 790 square feet, including ADA mobility and hearing-accessible room types. All rooms are complete with marble bathrooms and luxury bath amenities, while select guestrooms overlook Long Beach harbor and others have views of the palm tree-lined downtown skyline.
Since 1938, Sky Room has been recognized as a fine dining restaurant. Newly led by local Chef Maxwell Pfeiffer, Sky Room puts a spin on classic fine dining complemented by an extensive wine list. Perched atop Fairmont Breakers with views of the Pacific coastline, Sky Room will offer dishes showcasing local ingredients.
Alternatively, Nettuno serves a seasonal menu inspired by Italian home-cooked meals complemented by wines, Italian-inspired cocktails and aperitifs. The rooftop bar, Halo, will serve up cocktails along with 360-degree views stretching from downtown Los Angeles to Catalina Island. Alter Ego, the property’s jazz bar, serves an array of classic and music-inspired cocktails accompanied by a live jazz band on select evenings. Lastly, La Sala, the lobby bar, is the perfect spot for professionals, hotel guests and locals alike, where they can enjoy a morning espresso and breakfast pastries, afternoon tea or an evening cocktail.
The 10,000-square-foot Fairmont Spa offers eight treatment rooms and a pre- and post-treatment relaxation lounge. Other facilities include a two-story, 24/7 fitness center and Acqua Pool, perched just above the Ocean Boulevard, showcasing a menu of cocktails.
Fairmont Breakers offers 10,000 square feet of flexible event space, ranging from intimate ballrooms and modern meeting rooms to an outdoor reception terrace.
