Cardo Hotels to Open Second Property in Europe

Cardo Hotels is set to open its second property in Brussels this summer. Just like its sister property in Rome, the new hotel joins the Autograph Collection.

Cardo Brussels, Autograph Collection is housed in a 30-story building. Upon entering, guests walk past a huge screen that transforms them into cartoon avatars. This design approach is evident throughout the 532 rooms spanning 24 floors. The rooms sport bespoke furniture inspired by comic books and their text balloons, such as umbrella-shaped coffee tables, alongside curated mini-libraries and local artworks.

The hotel also offers a variety of suites, such as the ZEN Suite with private spa facilities (sauna and treatment room); the BIG Suite with a smart meeting room; and the TOP Suite, which has a fully equipped kitchen and double bedrooms.

F&B options at the hotel include Gritto’s Restaurant, which offers daily breakfast; Doodles Bar, with its comics-inspired décor, offers all-day dining and curated mixology; and Akai, a restaurant and cocktail bar, serves a mix of Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, signature cocktails and city views.

Wellness options include a fully equipped, 24/7 gym and the Contour Spa, which has five treatment rooms, sauna and relaxation area. Additionally, the indoor rooftop pool, spanning 753 square feet, is open year-round.

The hotel has 15 meeting spaces with distinctive designs, set up with flexible walls, new technology and playful libraries. The ballroom and pre-function space can accommodate up to 700 people for any type of event.
