Uniglobe Travel International, a travel management network for the global SME market, has announced a reseller partnership with Deem to meet the online booking needs of its customer base. The agreement, which was signed last year, provides for access to Deem’s online booking tool (OBT) for members of Uniglobe Travel International. The tool has already been provisioned for 10 clients, with 10 more to be released in the next two months.
Etta, powered by Deem, is a business travel booking platform that is compatible with a range of corporate expense systems. Combined with an intuitive user interface and feature parity between web and app, Etta makes it easy for employees of small and mid-size enterprises (SME) to book their travel.
Elizabeth Blount McCormick, president of Uniglobe Travel Designers in Columbus, OH spoke on the client reaction to Etta and shared: “The OBT market was stagnant and we were excited to introduce an OBT that was clean, fresh and has a user-friendly interface. When we show our clients Etta, they are eager to use it.”
According to Andrew Henry, VP of U.S. operations at Uniglobe Travel International, “Etta is already operational for Uniglobe Travel Designers and Uniglobe Travel Partners-ATL. We’re adding a third U.S. agency at this time and are now looking at other markets worldwide.”
“Our travel management software, Etta, was created to offer the critical functions businesses need, including SSO and flexibility to integrate with most expense solutions,” said Kathy Karlesses, vice president of mid/large markets and channel sales, Deem. “Etta gives Uniglobe a path to improve corporate travel with a technology solution that’s powerful for businesses and intuitive and easy for travelers.”
