London’s Barbican Business Events, in collaboration with its in-house catering team Searcys, has unveiled a series of new event packages. The packages cater to a range of occasions, including summer parties, the festive season and weddings.
The Barbican Conservatory, with its 1,800 species of tropical plants and ponds, offers a unique backdrop for the Barbican’s “Summer in the City” package. This includes three hours of unlimited drinks, a choice of three food stalls offering a variety of options, and a dedicated event manager. Additional enhancements, such as premium drink options and entertainment bookings are available on request.
The Barbican’s festive packages invite attendees to revel in the holiday spirit in the Barbican Conservatory. Options include the “Festive Fun” package, ideal for large groups seeking a night of dancing and dining under the stars; and the “Festive Wrapped-up” package, offering an intimate dining experience followed by an after-dinner DJ session. Each package includes a selection of drinks, canapés and food stations, all crafted by Searcys.
Summer packages start at £85+VAT (approximately $107.57+VAT) per person for a minimum of 150 people, while the festive packages start at £132+VAT (approximately $167.05+VAT) per person for a minimum of 150 people.
Searcys also offers wedding packages from £182+VAT (approximately $230.32) per person at the Barbican. Options range from the “Lauderdale” package, featuring a prosecco and elderflower reception, to the “Shakespeare” package, which includes a champagne and cocktail reception, and an evening street food station. A “Fully Bespoke” option is also available, allowing for complete personalization.
The Barbican is a leading conference and international arts venue. It is capable of holding meetings from 10 to 2,000 delegates in its fully equipped concert hall, theaters, conference suites and boardrooms.
