The Barbican, in partnership with caterer Searcys, is offering event planners the opportunity to immerse their guests in the lush surroundings of its tropical Conservatory. Located in the heart of London and home to over 1,500 species of exotic plants, this venue provides an inspiring backdrop for corporate and association events.
The “Summer in the City” package is designed to deliver a seamless experience for 100 guests or more. Guests are welcomed with drinks on the Conservatory Terrace before enjoying gourmet food stations with options such as bao buns, mac ’n’ cheese, posh dogs and mini poke bowls, all with both meat and plant-based choices. A dessert buffet showcasing summer favorites such as Eton mess, cheesecake and chocolate-dipped strawberries, rounds out the offering. The package includes two hours of unlimited beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages, starting from £124 ($155) + VAT per person.
To enhance the event, the Barbican offers bespoke add-ons such as champagne receptions, cocktail bars or live entertainment, including jazz trios or DJs. These options provide planners with the flexibility to tailor events to their specific requirements. The Barbican events team oversees every detail alongside the Searcys catering team. For event planners booking in August, exclusive rates and additional options are also available.
