The Bridge Building Event Spaces, located on the riverfront in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, has expanded its selection of venues to include The Dyer Space. Located on the third floor of the building, the new space is named after the building’s original owner, Arthur Dyer. It has floor-to-ceiling windows, new hardwood floors and city views. It also includes an upscale lounge area with windows overlooking the Cumberland River, modern furnishings and a flat-screen television. The space is well-suited for corporate meetings, charity events, galas and weddings.
Infinity Hospitality Group opened the Bridge Building Event Spaces in 2012 as part of its portfolio that currently includes The Bell Tower and The Estate at Cherokee Dock. Infinity Hospitality Group manages the property as one of Nashville's leading full-service event planning and design companies in the city. The group offers a range of all-inclusive event services from venue styling to vendor management, event staffing and catering, among others.
Built in 1908, the Bridge Building served as an office building for the Nashville Bridge Company (NABRICO). NABRICO gained popularity as the world’s largest producer of inland barges after producing dozens of vessels for the U.S. Navy during WWII. In the 90s, construction of the city’s new NFL stadium required demolition of the East Bank’s industrial facilities. The only structure spared was the original NABRICO building, along with two additions built in 1923 and 1965.
The Bridge Building was renovated in 2012 with a focus on restoring the architecture of the original structures while adding the latest infrastructure and safety features to the space. The new addition serves as a symbolic icon, recalling the lost heritage of the site.
