There is also a prefunction space that joins to the ballroom, an outdoor event terrace, an executive meeting room, an executive boardroom with prefunction space and five additional event rooms.
In addition to the meeting space, the new hotel will have a rooftop dining venue offering panoramic views of the area, as well as multiple bars throughout. Also planned is a 2,400-square-foot M Club Lounge, which provides spaces for guests to work and relax.
Additional amenities include lush gardens, fitness areas, and adjacent indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Guests will also be able to enjoy landscaped grounds along the oceanfront with bocce ball, fire pits, and terraces. There is also a full-service business center, as well as high-speed, wireless Internet access in the meeting rooms.
The Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront is the second phase in a three-phase $350 million master plan, which includes The Historic Cavalier Hotel and Beach Club, The Cavalier Residences, 42 Ocean luxury condominiums, the new Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront, and a phase three, which will include an additional hotel. All told, the development aims to create an all-in-one resort experience for locals and visitors.
