The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua on Maui’s North Shore has announced the debut of a number of new experiential meeting offerings. The resort has over 173,120 square feet of outdoor venue space and 20 indoor and outdoor meeting rooms. Here’s a look at what’s new:
Hammock Hangout Hour
Groups will have the chance to go beyond the boardroom walls and sway away in a hammock to create an atmosphere of free thinking and creative planning. There will also be swing-friendly signature cocktails and specialty bites.
Hawaiian Cultural Ceremony
Guests can immerse themselves in an authentic Hawaiian experience with the resort’s Hawaiian Cultural Advisor, Clifford Nae’ole. Nae’ole invites guests to experience a traditional Hawaiian cultural ceremony, e ala e, to kick off a meeting in a unique and memorable way.
Experiential Pineapple Break
The pineapple has become the international symbol of Hawaii, representing hospitality and the spirit of aloha. Guests can enjoy an elevated meeting break with a number of pineapple-themed experiences ranging from live action chef stations serving grilled pineapple to pineapple cocktail spritzers.
Mixologists Mix-Offs
It’s the battle of the cocktails as the resort’s mixologists show guests how to craft cocktails using fresh, local ingredients. Afterwards, the tables are turned as guests can put their skills into action in a blind taste test.
In addition to the new meeting offerings, The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua just completed property-wide renovation that updated its guest rooms, suites and residences, as well as its lobby and pool experience. The resort also opened new food and beverage outlets, including the signature restaurant Banyan Tree, the poolside café ‘Olu and the organic, seasonal grab-and-go Kai Café.
