IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) has launched a new global promotional campaign designed to drive groups and meetings business across its voco hotels.
The Meet On Us campaign is aimed at occasional meeting planners, IHG said. Those booking 10+ guest rooms per night at any voco hotel worldwide will benefit from a complimentary meeting room and earn triple IHG Rewards Club Points when booking qualified groups, meetings or events on behalf of others.
Hotels from voco, a name which means “to invite” and “call together,” are aimed at small groups and meetings and offer an array of versatile rooms. Each also has a designated onsite event planner on hand to support from the enquiry and booking through to the day of the meeting or event.
The promotion applies to all bookings made before February 1, 2020, for group stays, meetings or events taking place before December 31, 2020. The launch comes as IHG has set its sights on opening more than 200 voco hotels over the coming 10 years in attractive urban and destination locations around the world. These will also include gateways into lesser-explored travel spots, identified by IHG as places of rising interest for international travelers, such as voco Podgorica, which will open later this year.
voco is celebrating its one-year anniversary this month. Since launching the brand a year ago, the following hotels have opened: voco Gold Coast and voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley in Australia, voco St. David’s Hotel Cardiff, voco St. John’s Hotel Solihull, voco Oxford Thames and voco Oxford Spires in the UK, voco Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and voco Dubai.
