New Convention Sales Contact at Visit Seattle

Visit Seattle has hired a new executive for selling meetings and conventions in the city and the surrounding area.

As national account director, Cameron Hart will sell the Washington State Convention Center, Seattle and area hotels to corporation, associations, and other large groups on the West Coast, the destination marketing organization said. With a planned opening of spring 2022, the Summit building is one and a half blocks from the existing building, Arch, creating a campus environment for future meetings.

Hart is a Seattle native who started his hospitality career at The Westin Seattle in 2004, working a variety of positions and earning the Employee of the Year Award in 2005. In 2011, Hart moved into sales with The Westin Seattle and in 2013, transferred to Charlotte, North Carolina, after being promoted to sales manager. During his three years in Charlotte he sold the Westin, Sheraton and Le Meridian brands. Hart returned to Seattle in 2016 to assume the senior sales executive role for The Westin Seattle and in 2018 he was a core part of The Westin Seattle’s Hotel Sales Team of the Year for all Marriott brands in the Western Mountain Pacific region.

Hart is also a graduate of North Seattle Community College where he earned his Associate of Arts degree. Hart is also the Fundraiser Board Chair for the Northwest Chapter of PCMA. When not busy promoting Seattle and King County, Hart enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
