The Scottsdale Resort & Spa Unveils $40 Million Renovation

The Scottsdale Resort & Spa, Curio Collection by Hilton in Phoenix, AZ, has announced the completion of a $40 million renovation. The project encompassed all guestrooms and public spaces, including the Luna Spa, meeting venues and the introduction of four new culinary options.

The resort’s new residential-style guestrooms have leather accents, embroidered headboards and hand-carved wood, complemented with pops of modern Southwestern patterns. The transformation also includes the conversion of an existing building into The Stillman Villas, an enclave consisting of 12 two-story villas that offer a range of amenities, golf course views and a private pool for Stillman guests. These villas accommodate up to 14 guests and are ideal for parties, family gatherings and groups.

The Scottsdale Resort’s F&B venues include a restaurant serving Sonoran cuisine with global influences, a health-focused café, a hidden speakeasy and a family-friendly lounge with interactive games. La Fogata Kitchen and Bar serves modern Sonoran cuisine and is set against the backdrop of vistas of the McCormick Ranch Golf Club and Camelback Mountain. Open for breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner, La Fogata’s menu utilizes locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce. The Madam is a speakeasy reminiscent of the "Roaring Twenties" and the prohibition era. Upon check-in, guests receive a secret password, ensuring an exclusive entry into this intimate space. For non-guests, acquiring the password requires interaction with the staff or the resort’s social media pages.

Adjacent to The Madam is The Social Boardroom, offering a lounge-style atmosphere for guests of all ages. Entertainment options include pool, shuffleboard, board games and a golf simulator. Guests can also choose from a range of cocktails and small bites including sliders, wings with dipping sauces, nachos, and more. Barnaby’s Café + Wine Bar offers a variety of grab-and-go options. The morning hours welcome guests with a coffee bar and pastries, breakfast sandwiches, vegan items and a variety of teas, espressos and coffee blends. Later in the day, guests can tuck into paninis and salads tailored to midday cravings. In the evening, Barnaby’s Wine Bar offers a selection of local and regional wines to be enjoyed within the café or in the Spanish-style courtyard.

The 3,200-square-foot Luna Spa houses nine indoor treatment rooms, a Zen meditation garden, a sauna, a steam room, a co-ed tranquil room and a cold plunge. The resort also has a 3,000-square-foot fitness facility. Guests will also have access to locker rooms, showers, and more.

The Scottsdale Resort offers 18  meeting venues with 45,000 square feet of flexible interior space and an additional 40,000 square feet across its outdoor areas.
